Administration
Administration and Faculty Governance
The SU Humanities Center is administered for the College of Arts & Sciences by Gregg Lambert, Dean’s Professor of the Humanities and Founding Director. All decisions concerning policy and governance of The SU Humanities Center are determined by the Director in consultation with the Faculty Advisory Board, which includes one faculty member from each humanities department (each serving for two year terms), as well as representatives the participating interdisciplinary programs and units from other divisions in the University (rotating yearly). The Humanities Center works in conjunction with the Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences, George M. Langford, and the College’s Humanities Council, to determine the overall vision for the Humanities at Syracuse University.
