Faculty Advisory Board (HC-FAB)

All decisions concerning policy and governance of the Humanities Center are determined by the Director in consultation with the Faculty Advisory Board, which includes one faculty member from each humanities department (each serving for two year terms), as well as representatives from participating interdisciplinary programs and units from other divisions in the University (rotating yearly). In August of each year, Chairs or Directors of participating units are asked to confirm the appointment of rotating faculty representatives with the Director of the Humanities Center and, in cases of faculty leave or resignation, to appoint new representatives through the department's normal committee assignment process.
